Perhaps nothing can be said simpler and better than this… The lines above give a good guidance that one should follow the whole life!

Loose translation below:

“eraDu kONegaLa neem maaDu” = you make two rooms; “manada aalayadi” = in the house of your mind.

“hora kONeyali lOgada aaTagaLanu aaDu” = in the outer room play the games asked by “life”. Meaning, do things as demanded or expected by the circumstances/society/friends in your public life.

“viramisu obbane mounadi oLamaneya shaantiyali” = in the calmness of the “inner room” rest alone! The poet might be asking us to remain unattached to others, and at the same time trying to be in a state of bliss with ourselves. We should not try searching for the happiness outside… but, within!

“vara yOga sootravidu – mankutimma” = this is the main formula of Yoga. In other words, this is the golden rule to be followed by all for the best outcome in life!

“grahagatiya tidduvane…” = Can an astrologer modify our fate by mere changing the position and movements of planets in our horoscope charts?...

“vihita vaagihudu adara gati” = their movements (in the space) are already fixed and definite,… “srushTi vidhiyim” = due to the natural forces acting on them (or due to God or by nature).

“sahisidallade… …” = there is no other escape but to tolerate and accept whatever “dasha” we have been subjected to. (dasha means a period primarily governed by a planet, e.g shukra dasha = 20 yrs – the planet shukra governs most of our actions in this whole of 20 years!! ravi dasha = 10 yrs, shani dasha = 17 yrs and so on…)

“sahane vajrada kavacha – mankutimma” !!! = (no explanation required!) J

So, with prayers for the manifestation of “sahane” (= Patience), and calmness
